About The Cards

The Better Together: Kids Yoga Card Deck is a playful way for little ones to connect through movement, imagination, and mindfulness. Each card invites children to stretch, breathe, and move together—building cooperation, confidence, and joy along the way. Utilizing Montessori principles, each card features real photographs that honor a child’s natural curiosity and connection to the real world.

Through both real photographs and simple guidance, the cards make it easy for siblings, friends, cousins and more to explore yoga naturally—no experience required. Whether used for a quick energy break, a bedtime wind-down, or a moment of laughter, the cards help children learn to tune into their bodies and each other with curiosity and care.

These cards were born from a love of mindful movement and Montessori-inspired learning. We believe that children learn best through real, tangible experiences—and that begins with what they see. That’s why each card uses real images instead of illustrations, helping children recognize authentic movement, emotion, and connection.

In the Montessori philosophy, real images honor a child’s developing sense of reality and trust in the world. We wanted to carry that same respect into something playful—an activity that strengthens bonds, encourages empathy, and celebrates the simple joy of moving together.

Yoga helps children develop balance, coordination, focus, and body awareness, while also nurturing emotional regulation and confidence. Partner yoga takes it a step further—it teaches cooperation, communication, and trust. When kids move together, they learn how to listen, support, and find harmony in shared movement.

Our hope is that these cards invite families to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—one pose, one giggle, one mindful moment at a time.
